KSV Minitrough 4

Extended Minitrough without quartz window, a High Compression Ratio Analytical Film Balance, specially designed for the KSV Characterization instrument ISR400. PC controlled Langmuir Film balance for analysis of Langmuir monolayers. Optimal also for stand-alone applications where extra high compression ratios are necessary.

-Symmetric compression of the monolayer by two inter-linked surface barriers, or one-sided single barrier compression.
-Leak proof hydrophilic barriers.
-Form sintered solid piece, non-porous PTFE trough with quartz window in the bottom. No glue sealing of window. Surface area 587cm2 (782mm x 75mm x 5mm), subphase volume 293 ml.
-Subphase temperature control facility by aluminum heat/cool base plate operated by external circulating water bath. Bath sold separately.
-Digital display for surface pressure value.
-Super sensitive film balance with Platinum Wilhelmy plate (51066) and 100 pcs of paper plates (51066FP) and paper plate hook (51066FPH)
-Complete KSV WINLB software for Windows operating systems
-Comes with comprehensive instructions manual and instructional video CD on how to set up the instrument and how to make basic experiments
-Comes also with complete starter kit to make first experiments (see accessory KSV-LBKIT)
